What is carbonfit? +

Carbonfit is a carbon accounting and reduction platform designed to help monitor, manage and reduce your carbon footprint, comply with environmental and governmental regulations and assists in implementing sustainable practices. Carbonfit offers a one stop tool to access net zero solutions.

How can I edit my company details? +

Editing your company details is easy! Navigate to the ‘your profile’ section of the platform. Here, you will be able to edit and input new information for your company in the filed provided. Don’t forget to click ‘Save’ when finished!

How do I update my utility tracker? +

Keeping up to date with your utilities has never been easier! For simple uploading, navigate to the ‘data update’ section of the platform. Here, you will have the ability to update your information using one of our 3 uploading methods: bill scanner, CSV bulk uploader and monthly update!

How soon can we get started with carbonfit? +

Getting started with carbonfit is easy! Every business is different, we need to understand your needs first. By filling out this form we can provide you with a personalised demo of the platform and identify the first steps we can take to get your business on the road to net zero!

Can carbonfit help with carbon offsetting? +

Yes, carbonfit can help with carbon offsetting! Once you reach 90% carbon reduction, you will gain access to the carbon offset portal where you can purchase carbon credits to achieve net zero!

How long does it take to complete a carbon footprint? +

Carbon foot printing doesn’t have to be difficult! If you have all your data ready this can be achieved in under 30 minutes with our dedicated carbonfit team!

What is a carbon footprint? +

A carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gases, particularly carbon dioxide (CO2) and other carbon compounds, that are emitted directly or indirectly by an individual, organisation, event, or product throughout it’s lifecycle. It is usually measured in equivalent tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) to account for the varying global warming potential of different greenhouse gases.

What are the different scopes? +

Scope 1 covers direct emissions emitted from an individual or organisation. These include emissions from sources that are owned or controlled by the entity, such as on-site fuel combustion, industrial processes and transportation. Scope 2 covers indirect emissions from energy use. Scope 2 emissions associated with the production of the electricity, heat, or steam that an entity consumes. This includes emissions from purchased electricity. Scope 3 is where it can get tricky! Scope 3 covers indirect emissions from the supply chain and other sources. These emissions include emissions from sources not owned or controlled bythe reporting entity but are associated with its activities, including upstream and downstream emissions in the supply chain, business travel, employee commuting and the end-of-life treatment of products. Scope 3 is split up into 15 categories.

You sure can! If you navigate to the ‘carbon docs’ page on the platform, you have access to all carbon documents in one place. And what’s better, you can download all these documents to your device!

What kind of support does carbonfit offer its members? +

We have a variety of support options to suit your needs and membership requirements. From our online chat function, dedicated monthly support calls to a dedicated carbon engineer, we will guide and support you to reach your net zero targets!

How often should I be imputing data? +

To get the most benefits from the carbonfit platform, we suggest imputing data monthly. But don’t worry about forgetting, as we send out monthly reminders and notifications to ensure it is done as often as possible!

What data do I need to collect to get my carbon footprint? +

For the best results, collecting your base year and reporting year monthly breakdown by emission type will assist in creating your carbon footprint. 24 month's worth of data will provide the best and most accurate outcome.

Is carbonfit compliant with international carbon reporting standards? +

Carbonfit reporting provides the following compliant reports SECR, PPN 06/21. Our team also provides ESOS , CSRD and a range of various reporting as required and chosen via our membership options. Carbonfit membership can also assist and improve other organisation reporting such as CDP , SBTi, TCFD. If you have a specific query, feel free to contact the team and we can look into it together!
